The success of Strand Technology as a company can be directly attributed to the drive and passion of its founding Directors. The Directors have extensive experience in their chosen fields which gives the business a strong foundation for future growth and prosperity.
Graham Phillips - Managing Director
Graham Phillips has experience in a number of industry sectors including travel, retail and newspaper publishing where he ran one of the largest sales operations in the North West of England, Commercial Radio, Manufacturing and IT. He is an occasional lecturer on business issues at Manchester Business School and Bangor University
Graham holds a number of Director level appointments including one with Business Link Cheshire and Warrington. He is much in demand as a conference speaker and is a well-respected seminar presenter travelling throughout England and Europe.
In 2004 he led the management buy out of Strand Technology from its previous owner and has overseen the development of strong core products producing continual growth and re-investment in the business.
Edward Gleeson - Company Secretary

Edward was Head of Finance within the
Automotive Division of Pilkington Glass before joining Strand Technology as Financial Director in 2003. He retired from this role in 2011 and now takes the position of Company Secretary.

After graduating with 1st Class Honours in Electrical Engineering, Chris Tyler worked as both a software developer and IT manager before joining Strand Technology in 1995, to form a new Software Products division.
As Chief Designer, he led the team that created CareNotes, becoming Technical Director in March 2000. He now manages the technical resources within the company and oversees the strategic development of Strand's range of software products .
Colin Humphrey - Financial Director

Colin joins Strand Technology from Baker Tilly, one of the UK’s top 10 accounting firms, where he was a partner.
Colin was appointed to the position of Director of Finance to help strengthen Strand Technology's financial structure. As part of his new role at Strand Technology, Colin will help to manage the company’s continuing expansion as more NHS mental healthcare organisations opt to use its successful CareNotes electronic care record solution.
